Close up is very rewarding however, it takes patience, care and commitment. One important factor in creating these images is to ensure your camera is steady.
Slow shutter speed, hand movement and wind may influence how sharp your image is when you view it.
Placing the camera on a tripod or other mechanism for support will help. Using a remote trigger or the camera’s timer can also alleviate slight movements. If using the camera’s timer try placing the camera on something firm. If the space is awkward a bean bag or bag of rice is useful. Alternatively lean on something to brace yourself.
